British Open 2010 Free Betting Preview and Picks

Print Article

What a difference a year makes in golf. Tiger Woods has come crashing back to the planet with all kind of personal issues and other golfers are stepping up to the plate to really make it interesting. Today we will not only give you betting odds, previews, but also our free sports picks for the 2010 British Open. Lets look at our top golfers for this weeks British Open.

TIGER WOODS (+500): The bad news is Tiger has not looked like himself this year. The good news that the value is double what it would have been last year. Also Tiger has battled in both majors this year and finished in top 10 in both, even though he did not play his best golf. Still think that his odds really should be about +900 so will pass at this price.

PHIL MICKELSON (+1150): So far we have seen Phil battle well this year and one major is not a bad start to the season. But lets remember Phil has only one top 10 in sixteen starts. Lets pass as history this strong is too hard to ignore.

JUSTIN ROSE (+1850): The hottest player heading in as he has won 2 of 3 last tournaments. The pressure from a whole country might be too much and even at this juicy price lets pass. He will play well and be in top 10 so if you want you can wager on Rose for top 10.

PAUL CASEY (+3500): A country behind him and a healthy outlook now could have Casey in it come Sunday. Casey has all the shots and if his putter gets hot this would be great value. Going to pass but going to play him against Phil and Tiger in matchup as we get huge value.

STEWART CINK (+5000): Last years champion has not been playing but think just the reminder of what was last year could turn his game around. Repeat champions are not that uncommon either so lets swing big for the fences and keep our fingers crossed.

Enjoy the 2010 British Open and hope all your betting picks are winners.
