This NBA Playoffs has been dominated by the two defenses. In fact since game 1 neither teams offense has really seen the light of day. The Celtics have turned this series into an ugly slug it out series. The Lakers look to be satisfied with playing into the strength of the Celtics. 1. Win the battle of the boards: The winner of the rebounding totals has won every game so far.

2. Fast Break points: Both games 1 and 2 played in LA were won by getting out in transition. With these two strong defenses its vital to get easier shots by running in transition.

3. Bench Scoring: So far in this series you really would have to say Boston's bench has been the biggest surprise. Lakers bench must give more quality minutes now they are back at home.

4. Kobe/Gasol vs Boston starters: So far Boston has had a different star every game whereas the Lakers really are only getting the big 2 to score. Kobe and Gasol must be amazing to win.

5. Turnovers: Really a key stat as the Celtics at times can win every statistical category but lose because they get careless with the ball. In the first half of game 5 Boston let LA stick around solely because of TO's.
