Picking the Winning NCAA Bracket Top 5 Tips

March Madness is finally here and now its time for the annual ritual of filling out your NCAA Bracket. With nearly everyone filling out an office pool you have to study up to make sure you avoid some of the pitfalls. Lets give our secret TOP 5 Tips for Winning NCAA Brackets.

1. Top Two seeds should always be advance thru the sweet 16 without any hesitation. Over 93% of the time all the top 8 seeds make it thru. Don't try and be hero to pick these super upsets so early, play the odds and percentages here.

2. #5 vs #12: Believe it or not this is the most common upset nearly every year for the past 10 tournaments. In fact over the past five years the #12 has upset the higher seed 48% of the time.

3. Pick the brackets in reverse is a huge help. Pick your champion and work from the middle out as you will find ways to get the teams you really feel strongly about. Added bonus is the later rounds are usually gets you more points.

4. Don't pick all #1 seeds in the Final Four. Only once has all four seeds made the Final Four. But don't go to crazy picking super upsets as 93% of the Final Four seeds come from Top Four seeds.

5. Underdog Special: try to find two double digit seeds to the Sweet 16 as last 5 tournaments we have had at least two double digit seeds make it. This can be some super hidden points that will separate you come final calculations.
