The 1st reason makes sense being that Baseball season means summertime, BBQs, and family time. So the avg bettor takes a break to refuel for Football season. The 2nd reason is a brutal fact! My friends on the other side meaning the ones who work for Sportsbooks tell me that what they lose in an entire Baseball season they make back in the 1st two wks of Football season! Now mind you this doesn't mean one should disregard Football entirely, but that will be discussed down the road.

Back to Baseball. Why does this sport give you a fairer shake than any other sport? For one there is no spread unless you are a laying a run line, which I NEVER DO! Next there is not a clock to contend with! Untimed! In other sports like Football and Basketball you not only have to battle a spread, you also have to do in an alotted time. Sometimes tis might be to your benefit, but mostly it makes life more difficult. Also in Football you have to deal with penalties and Basketball fouls. This has an enormous impact on the outcome of the games, hence your wager!

Baseball is a sport where stats hold up stronger than any other sport! Now on to today so we can make some money! Interleague play is as expected very tricky. Some National League teams who might be struggling in run production benefit greatly by playing at an American League team because now they can add a batter who in most cases would only be a pinch hitter. On the flip side an American League team who have trouble scoring runs are going to struggle even more by removing a batter from an already anemic offense!

Yes at times it's that simple in Baseball! You see where I'm going with this? Today we'll focus on totals. Two in particular. We are going OVER in both games.

The 1st free sports play is the Mets @ Orioles OVER 10. In this game a good solid line is 10 MAX! Remember this is based on the starting pitchers Redding for the Mets and Uehara for the Orioles. Both have Enormous ERAs and have not given any indication that it will improve anytime soon. The Mets seem to have shaken off so me rust and the Orioles young and energetic seem to to produce iin that BANDBOX Camden Yards! Also note the weather is always a factor so check for thunderstorms, wind direction etc.

The 2nd free sports play doesn't warrant a weather forecast. That's because it's indoors. Pirates @ Twins OVER 9. The Pirates lineup although not a juggernaut seem to produce more runs in interleague play. Like I said before they are adding a hitter. Listed pitchers Liriano for the Twins and Snell for the Pirates have been pitching nothing more than batting practice! The line for this total is 9 MAX! Remember check the lineups right up until game time. Obviously if there are some important scratches like a Beltran, Roberts or Morneau this puts the brakes on any kind of paly, especially an OVER total
