The Horse that got away from the betting public, his Name? "Mine That Bird". This horse was hidden from the public since July of 2008! up in Woodbine/Canada Region. Most of the betting public didnt see all the stats on MTB in the racing Programs. MTB has Top Breeding with Birdstone ( Winner of the Belmont over Smarty Jones) and Smart Strike ( Does CURLIN ring a bell?). In 8 starts, MTB went on to win 4 races in super fashion by stalking and come from behind wins. He won a MCL $62,500, Silver deputy stakes $100,000, Swynford stakes $150, The Grey G3 $100. The Videos for these races are available on my website. After viewing these races you will wonder why you didnt at least put $5 to win on him. The only Races MTB lost was his very first race which he ran 5th, A $100 derby stakes running 2nd, And the $800,000 Sunbury Derby he ran 4th. MTB has been through Four Jockeys, Trainer David Cotey, Trainer Rich Mandella (with a disaster Breeders Cup running 12th) and than passed on to Ben Wolley, Who?? thats right Ben Wolley. Mr Wolley is the man who had faith that this horse could win if given a chance!. The Preakness is a great track for Stretch Closers and the perfect track for MTB. This guy CAN DO IT!!.. If MTB can pull off a Preakness Shocker, there will be raised eyebrows, heads in the sand, Trainers looking for new jobs because everyone including myself NEVER took a 2nd look at MTB. Why?? because he didnt have a 3.5 Million dollars tag on his back!. They make commercials about Cavemen all the time. But even a $9500 Horse can win the Kentucky Derby and the Triple Crown. Shame on us! and Congrats to "MINE THAT BIRD" and there connections.
