Underdog Drivers to Win the Daytona 500

Nascar is back and unlike most sports Nascar starts with there biggest race of the year. Teams spend all off season working on there Daytona car and hoping there name can go in the history books at Daytona. The oddsmakers have made Kyle Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr the two favorites at 6-1. But the favorites don't usually fair well at this race so Craig is going to give you the three longshots that can win and make you some serious money.

Michael Waltrip (+6000): Waltrip has struggled since he started his own race team three years ago. But the one thing he has always been great at is restrictor plate racing. As a past winner he knows what it takes and with the 60-1 value can't pass on Waltrip.

Jeff Burton (+2500): Good value on a very consistent smart driver. Burton has been one of the most consistent drivers in the last 10 restricter plate races. Getting to the end of this race in one piece is a huge part of the puzzle and he always is there at the end. Take this steady driver and hope that he gets drafting help late and enjoy the huge odds.

Tony Stewart (+1500): Usually one of the favorites to win this year is not getting the respect as one of the best drivers in the circuit. Oddsmakers have inflated this line because his new team that he is associated and co-owner now is unproven. Lets take a proven veteran and hope that his equipment will hold up until the end of the race.
