For the second time this season, the Washington Capitals will be forced to play without star Alex Ovechkin because of a suspension. However, the way the NHL's top team has dominated the Florida Panthers of late, they might not miss him in their next contest. Minus Ovechkin, the visiting Capitals look to sweep the season series with a sixth consecutive win over the Panthers on Monday night.

The Capitals will be playing with out Ovechkin but that will not stop them from winning against a Panthers team who has the worst shots against in the league. And when you give a team like the Capitals 34 or more shots, there could be problems. They proved that to everyone sunday when they played the blackhawks. They went into the 3rd period down 3 goals with out Ovechkin and score 3 quick goals, forced over time and finished off the Blackhawks in overtime and won 4-3. This Capitals team is no joke, they are the most lethal team in the NHL today with or without Ovechkin. For the bookmakers to be giving -170 for this lethal Capitals team is a steal. They want everyone to bet on the Panthers just because they will be with out Ovechkin. Don't fall for the Vegas trap.
