Week #2 of the College Football season has come to a close...
Here are some things that have stood out to me.
1 - ALABAMA's defense is the real deal. They might have a young QB situation, but this defense is no joke and as long as they don't lose their RB, they should be on their way to an undefeated season.

Get ready to say goodbye this conference, as in all likely-hood this is the final season of Big 12 action. Texas A&M will be heading to the SEC and it looks like Oklahoma, Ok State and Texas are heading to the Pac 12. The remaining teams are rumored to possibly be heading to the Big East. Big East Basketball will be a 20 team monster.
NFL kicks off tomorrow night with the Saints and Packers. Let us look at the AFC first, and tomorrow we will look over the NFC.
AFC EAST

1. CAROLINA ~ Cam Newton QB ~ Huge gamble for me. Lots of off the field issues. New HC Ron Rivera will either be the hero or goat for this selection. I think 3 years from now, they are right back here in the Top 5 drafting.

Sitting here watching Oregon and UCLA. Looking at this Ducks uniform, it brings me back to opening night and Boise visiting Va Tech. The Broncos rolled in with their 'Untamed, Unapologetic' uni's. They were facing off vs the Hokies 'Black to the Future'. Now, we know in sports it is all about marketing and sales and revenue. A few other teams will be showcasing some new gear this season.

Green Bay Packers – The Pack posted 11 wins in 2009 and should hit that number again in 2010. Led by QB Aaron Rodgers, the Packers are poised to take a big leap.
