Neither team is picked to do well in its division. The Bears are going with Mitch Trubisky to start the season, with veteran Nick Foles waiting in the wings. The Lions are going with the now aging Matthew Stafford. Chicago took a step back on both sides of the ball last year, but the addition of Ted Ginn and Jimmy Graham will help out the offense. The Bears defense didn't upgrade much in the offseason and I think it'll have difficulties with this now fully healthy Stafford. Detroit added a few key players in its secondary as well and note that it's 6-1 ATS in its last seven games played in September. The Bears on the other hand are a terrible 0-6 ATS in their last six road games. Bank on the "better" home side taking full advantage!
